Mission 3 Image Visualization{reflection}

Mission 3 Methodology Reflection I believe this mission was a success. We were able to hit all of the goals that had set for ourselves and everything in the mission brief. I really enjoyed this mission because it was so different to the others we have done previously. I loved getting the opportunity to develop my editing skills (which are still not great but have improved) and this has genuinely given me a new interest in editing. Its now something that i would consider messing around with in my spare time just to see what im capable of and how much i can improve. If I was to do this project again i would have liked to maybe get some real life clips recorded and put into the video just to break up all of the screenshots and screen recording and just bring some life back into the video. I think this would have not only been more interesting to the viewers but also would have given us more opportunity to actually get to play around with premiere pro and be more creative in cre

Mission 3 Methodology  Product The product of this mission is of course the video. we began by doing research into image visualization as it really took us a while to fully understand what it meant and what the mission brief was telling us. After spending a long time researching together we were able to begin planning out how we wanted our video to look. We decided that we wanted to show different ways you can visualize your images. We began by choosing our photos (we went with photos of Zoe's dog). Then using the resources given to us on the cdm website we started to play around with the different apps and websites we could find to see what exactly the could do with our images. We chose our favorite website and applications and screen recorded ourselves using them to then put a voice over on top of it later. All of the apps were actually very easy to use, we just had to select our files to upload them and then with the click of a button we had our images being shown in

Mission 3  Methodology Process I was really excited to start this project because it was so different from the other missions we had already done. I had only ever edited a video once before in my Introduction to Digital Media class however so i felt confident enough in that i would be able to get it done to a decent standard. I had really enjoyed editing the video in class so I was definitely looking forward to getting a chance to do it again. Knowing the resources and videos from the class were there was also very comforting going into this project. I found it quite hard to pick a topic for this mission as i struggled with understanding the briefs with most of the topics and i did have to ask around to try to figure them out, compared to the last missions which i felt were a lot easier to understand. Originally i had wanted to do mapping but later decided i would prefer to do Image visualization. After finally making my decision i was able to form my group and get to work.

Mission 2 Internet Of Things{reflection}

Mission 2 Culture Reflection Personally i believe this project was a success. We achieved our goals which we had set out in the beginning, we created a power point presentation, we conducted a survey and compiled our resulted into a visual representation, we made a list of IoT devices and represented this on an infographic, we learned about the evolution of IoT along with its safety issues and we also took a look at where IoT will continue to grow and develop over the coming years. We were not able to meet up as a whole group as much s we would have liked due to us all living so far away from each other however this problem was made a little bit easier when one of my team mates introduced the idea of using google slides to make the presentation. This meant that we were all able to edit and look at the slides separately and allowed for us not being able to meet as often. One of the group members thankfully was more experienced in using spreadsheets and creating different cha

Mission 2 Internet Of Things {Product}

Mission 2 Culture Product The product of this mission was mainly the power point presentation itself because although we did our own survey we did have to represent the data we collected in the power point. The power point began with a list of Internet Of Things devices which we compiled and then laid it out in a more aesthetically pleasing format. We made sure to include both everyday household devices and also more industrial devices to really show the range of IoT devices that are available. We did this by searching for a template that we liked and then inserting the names of IoT devices we found, each with a small image because we wanted to give visual aids as to keep it interesting. I conducted a survey to find out how many IoT devices people have in their homes and what those devices are. Originally we thought asking people individually would get us quicker responses and be easier, we later realized it would have been more efficient to use a survey making website for this

After reading them all i decided that i wanted to do The Internet Of Things. From choosing the topic i was then able to join a group. I wasn't really sure what the internet of things was at first but when i read some of the information given on the cdm website i found it so interesting that i was ready to get going straight away. I met with my group to organize what direction we wanted to take the presentation. Similarly to the first miss

Mission 1 Creativity Reflection Looking back on this project i would say I am quite happy with the outcome. I went into this project very nervous as it was the first group project of the year. I tried my best to keep an open mind through the nerves at the beginning. I soon realized there wasn't actually much to be afraid of. At first i was very nervous of having to work with people i didn't know but thankfully i ended up in a group with two people who were so nice and easy to work with. Splitting the workload evenly was something that made the experience a lot more comforting aswell, knowing i had as much a part to play as the others and that if i needed help they were there to work with. I really enjoyed making the podcast and found it extremely interesting getting to understand the behind the scenes of how a podcast is recorded and edited. If I was to do a podcast again in the future, which hopefully I will, I would like to do it with a better production, I would u
