Reflection

I believe this mission was a success. We were able to hit all of the goals that had set for ourselves and everything in the mission brief. I really enjoyed this mission because it was so different to the others we have done previously. I loved getting the opportunity to develop my editing skills (which are still not great but have improved) and this has genuinely given me a new interest in editing. Its now something that i would consider messing around with in my spare time just to see what im capable of and how much i can improve.

If I was to do this project again i would have liked to maybe get some real life clips recorded and put into the video just to break up all of the screenshots and screen recording and just bring some life back into the video. I think this would have not only been more interesting to the viewers but also would have given us more opportunity to actually get to play around with premiere pro and be more creative in creating our video.

Similarly to in the first mission when i made a podcast, we just used the voice memos in my phone to record or voice over audio. I would have loved to have gotten to use a professional microphone, but sadly we were not able to get hold of one. This is something i would do differently if I was to do this again.I did struggle at first with figuring out how to control the volume levels at certain points bu through watching a youtube tutorial i was able to finally get it and was then able to make to backing track cut to being quieter when the voice overs were on.

I am very proud of my group for achieving what we did, we were all a little unsure at the beginning because all found the mission briefs quite hard to understand however we were able to overcome this and produce a video which contained all of the necessary elements. Although it may not be the highest standard of editing we have all gotten the experience and now know where we struggle and where we thrive in editing for the future.

I look forward to getting to use and improve all of the new skills that i have gotten while doing the missions over the past few months. Really excited to see what the new year brings, Happy Christmas!

Mission 1 Creativity Reflection Looking back on this project i would say I am quite happy with the outcome. I went into this project very nervous as it was the first group project of the year. I tried my best to keep an open mind through the nerves at the beginning. I soon realized there wasn't actually much to be afraid of. Mission 1 digital audio {product}

Mission 1 Creativity Product The product of this mission was a power point presentation and a podcast. Myself and my group had met up to discuss what we wanted to do for this and decided to make the power point first and then focus on the podcast later on. In our power point presentation we wanted to elaborate on what digital audio is and the go in depth into the history of it and how it has developed and evolved over the years. We found out what digital audio is and how different sounds that we hear everyday are used in different apps or technologies and also how they can be used for sound effects in movies, tv shows and even songs. After we each went our separate ways to collect our research we then met up with all of this information, shared what we had found and then it was all put together into our power point presentation.
